Some of it was bought with gift cards, but I'm still counting it.

Deluxe Console - $350
NSMBU - $59.99
Zombi U - $59.99
Pro Controller - $49.99
BLOPS 2 - $49.99
Sonic Racing - $39.99
Runner 2 - $14.99
Nano Assault - $9.99

So $635...

Roughly $470 AUD.

Bought a US Deluxe console off Ebay, bought Mario U and Trine 2. Oh and F-Zero VC.

All I've bought (beyond the console) is NSMBU so like $60 I guess.

I will be buying Monster Hunter when it releases next week though.

Around 300ish dollars.

I was able to find a "buy it now" used deluxe model Wii U on ebay on the 1st of this month for $280, plus $10 for shipping. The Wii U is practically the guy I bought this from opened it up and only played it for like, 10 hours total or something, also the gamepad has no scratches or fingerprints on it whatsoever. It came with all the things the deluxe model is supposed to come with, and he also threw in super mario brothers U.

The only other things I bought for the Wii U is these $2 three-pack screen protectors and $8 two rechargeable batteries and charger set for the Wii-mote for 8 dollars, both from off amazon. I was able to get monster hunter 3 ultimate (main reason for getting a Wii U right now) without having to pay for it by trading in a bunch of old stuff I don't play at the moment at gamestop.

About $600 so far all total with extra controllers and games. Not even half the cost of my gaming PC.

The only thing I regret is Zombie U. That game was horrible. Sold it on Craigslist one week after purchase. NSMBU was amazing and also the reason I bought the system at launch. I am a HUGE 2D Mario fanatic and have been for over 2 decades. Sonic racing was really good. NintendoLand was surprisingly good. Warriors Orochi is decent, although the draw distance is godawful and the textures are pretty bad. It was either a very rushed port or the Wii U is going to have a serious problem with CPU intensive games...

Either way, don't really care. I bought this thing for Nintendo exclusives and nothing else. I have multiple platforms to utilize so multiplats aren't an issue at all...
But the PS4 has GDDR5 RAM. That's 2 more than DDR3! I bet PCs will take at least 5 years to catch up to this beast.
