Would you buy a Zelda game that was a Turn Based or Action RPG?

it has weak characters and it's world isn't particularly interesting or unique either... I think a new IP would be better then a zelda in those genres.

Turn based would be cool.

Having Link and maybe 2 or 3 other party members like Ruto, Zelda/Sheik Saria or Midna.
different classes and abilities like Zelda could do more spell attacks and Ruto could do water based magic attacks.
Link just normal attacks.

Then give it STRONG characters. Make the world INTERESTING and UNIQUE.

If the Zelda series really does have weak characters, why keep them weak?

Turn based, I wouldn't rush out to buy a Wii U for it.

Action RPG maybe if they keep the overall concept of Zelda gamesand just adds a level up system and gear upgrades and such.

I would probably buy it , but I'd prefer an action RPG, as this is a genre Nintendo haven't really done anything in. While they already have several TBS games (Fire Emblem, Advance Wars). Id love to see something like Skyrim or Fable with the Zelda series. But only with spinoffs. I still want the core Zelda gameplay.

Being capable of controlling the flow of the fight >> leaving it to fate.

Imagine if Street Fighter II was based around numbers and luck.
Flip a coin for your hadouken to hit? Yeah, no thanks.
Luck should not be a huge part of the gameplay mechanics.
