... So they make less money selling more consoles.

They know what they're doing.
Yeah, that's a problem games had back then. You actually had to get good at them. - Mctias

1) This is only the basic version (I believe, not entirely sure)
2) They make a profit if one game has been sold per console (with an attach rate which was around 2,7 or higher, they make alot of money)
3) Shut up troll. You are lucky my ignore list is full.
Please note: The above post may contain sarcasm.
Please use your senses to determine if this is the case or not.

Ignore lists can be full?! What the hell, GameFAQs. First you refuse to moderate anything, meaning we have to rely on the ignore list to find threads that aren't garbage, and then you cap the ignore list?

..and the U becomes prophets after a single game sale. Who buys a console and doesn't buy at least one game?

Nintendo could have increased the price to make it prophet from the gate but then the u would be more expensive, considering people are complaining about the price right now...

Guys, I know that a single game means that they make money on the console. I was using stupid logic to combat the leagues of stupidity this board has suffered of late.

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

If you really believe that they lose money on each system sold, you're a fool. They might have said it, doesnt mean its true.
