Nintendo did that with Link and Mario: developing them from ugly little sprites into perfectly rendered 3D characters. They've stopped developing them now because they are perfect. Just like if you had the option, you'd stop your girlfriend from aging once she hit 24.

You've posted a lot of nonsense in your signature that real gamers don't care about. We care about FUN, like Nintendo always offers. And loyalty rewards, like t shirts. And character development, like Mario, Link, DK, etc. Games are few and far between now, but the console is 4 months old. Nintendo gamers expect the best, but we're also more civilized and patient than Sony and MS fans because we know what great things Nintendo is capable of.
