Always exciting to have new players in a franchise. I think this is the best time to jump on because MH3U is the culmination of so many iterations already that you will get a ridiculous amount of content if this is your first game.

I feel sorry for anybody that has to play it for the first time. They are going to see all of the hype that this game is getting (stemming from a lack of quality software on the wii u) and unknowingly end up with this clunky grindfest.

Sadly the demo probably scared off a few people. It's a shame too because it seems to be quite promising

I bought the Monster Hunter Tri with classic pro controller for Wii, but never got around to playing it. So MH3U will be my first Monster Hunter experience.
