This is not a topic to argue i am just curious about Nintendo love. I used to love Nintendo but since purchasing a Wii back in 07 i have turned away from them. The Wii in my opinion was pretty bad it came out after xbox360 with kind of crappy hardware and barely got any support. I get that everyone loves Mario and Zelda but is that honestly enough? Nintendo finds the cheapest way to release consoles while Sony and Microsoft takes risks which i think at the end of the day gives their consumers a better product that does more. Nintendo does not seem all that caring about it's fan base look at 3ds. They cut price and gave original buyers some crappy games to make up for it. Sony online goes down they give you a selection of great games and last week gave out 10 bucks to ps3 owners just to do it.

Even though Wii came out after 360 it ended first and once Wii u was announced they pretty much abandoned the Wii which is kinda messed up while Sony plans to release many ps3 exclusives still after the announcement of ps4. I am just curious is the loyalty due to nostalgia or do you generally like how they have handled themselves since the original Wii?

MS forces you to pay for online then spams you with endless ads.
Sony only gives you stuff because of errors. No errors no stuff.

Is the wii your first Nintendo console?

No its the first one i hated. I loved Nintendo up until the Wii.

Not true at all the money they gave out this month and last week had nothing to do with errors. Ps plus is also the best value on any console.

First we have to establish that Nintendo Love does not equal Sony/Microsoft Hate.

That said, Nintendo has the kind of games that I am interested in playing. The "AAA" cinema action games that have taken over the industry just don't appeal to me. I "get" that I'm in the minority; I'm ok with that.

But when I think of my favorite games of the last generation, I think Kirby's Epic Yarn, A Boy & His Blob, Endless Ocean, 3D Picross, NSMB, etc. I've no interest in Bioshock or Call Of Duty. That doesn't mean they are bad games, btw, this is purely opinion. But you asked.
