Target match price?

So I'm buying a Wii U and was searching for the best price. So far Amazon seems to be the best thanks to the free Prime shipping and tax-free awesomeness. The subtotal is $282 for the basic(have my own HDD) and the item is brand new. Now I checked elsewhere and noticed Target is selling it for $350 with a gift card that automatically applies itself to the order to reduce it $300 but it's still $350 retail at the end of the day.

Now I'm curious if it's possible to price match to lets say Amazon or Best Buy's price and then have them apply the added gift card to reduce another 50 dollars making the total 250 plus tax. Do you think it's possible? It is in their policy to match any competitor's price and they do say they'd include the 50 dollar card to the final transaction.

and 250 for the basic. Friend told me I can't price match them. Looks like I'm going to have to find my costco card.
