The wii U is too expensive.

kdognumba1, that's a good post, and I respect where you're coming from, but I would have expected those things from the Wii U even if it cost $100 less. If there were games out now that made it clear that the Wii U was in fact more powerful than the 360 and PS3, then I would be more inclined to say that the hardware was more reasonably priced. But there isn't, and none of the other features you listed really help to justify the cost of the system.

To each there own. Just know that all hardware, regardless of what its made for, has its strengths and weakness's, pros and cons. It really comes down to personal opinion if you feel the pros outweigh the cons or vice versa. While the Wii U is far from perfect it does have its strong points that for some do outweigh the cons.

Someone posted a video yesterday showing that the Wii U components including gamepad totaled $228. Nintendo just likes to rip people off and overprice ancient hardware.

Yes, there is. The Gamepad is estimated to cost about $80 to make and the total cost of the system and controller is approx. $228. They could have added a number of things and it still probably would not have been $300 if what they say is true.

Nintendo refuses to talk about it so I'm guess they hit the nail on the head.

I don't understand why they dont just sell them for something like 100 or something. Sure they will lose a lot but the more consoles the more games sold.
