You can't be serious... Best 3DS game Ocarina of Time ? Buy some more games then or stop trolling. Resident Evil Revelations, Mercenaries, Fire Emblem, SML3D, MK7 and KI:U spring too mind. All of those games (with the exception of RE: Mercs) got pretty good reviews, but I know Mario again, Kid Icarus again and Evil Resident again so they suck ! You want new IP's like Halo.

People perception that power=quality literally comes from no where as well, but I do agree, I see alot of people praising games only because they look good. I'd love to actually say when this trend began, because it certainly wasn't around in the PS2 era or even the beginning of current gen. --- Im British! Why are sales not picking up then? Because hot titles drive sales, and the Wii U is lacking a consistent release schedule. Why is PS3 selling at least 4 times better than Wii U does weekly? When they are competing with eachother headon hardwarewise? Because the PS3 has built a large fanbase over the course of 6 years, has hundreds of games already available, has releases like God of War: Ascension, and a decent bundle with games and a harddrive is $50 cheaper than the Wii U Deluxe model. Why is Nintendo just offering rags and scraps from the other consoles(ports of older games)? Why are they just offering a new hollow NSMBU? When did games like Arkham City, Darksiders II, Black Ops 2, and Deus Ex become "rags and scraps"? Several months old, yes, but they are still good games. And didn't PS3 get Dead Space Extraction? Didn't PS3 and 360 get House of the Dead: Overkill? And aren't they also getting Resident Evil: Revelations? Why aren't you calling them out on getting "rags and scraps?" As for NSMBU, whether it is hollow or not is a matter of opinion. And as for "just offering" NSMBU, that isn't true either. They also offer Nintendo Land. And Monster Hunter. And Zombi U. And lots of other games on the Wii U, like the ones we just discussed. And do you realize how many consoles launch with ports of old games, or with previous gen games still in development simply being ported for the new system instead? Why didn't they sort out a decent online account system when they had all theese years to observe how Playstation 3 & 360 does it? Nintendo has no incentive to do so. If they link purchases to systems rather than accounts, then they can get people to purchase the same game multiple times, as well as prevent people from sharing games with friends by putting their accounts on their friend's systems . Why didn't they beef up the hardware so it could compete with PS4? Because they build cost effective hardware to sell at a profit or with a narrow margin of loss. Sony and Microsoft don't. They build powerful machines that lose tons of money when they sell. And if we are going to call the Wii U out here, then why not call Sony out too? Why didn't Sony beef up the hardware to compete with PCs? Why didn't they get started with firstparty games earlier so they could ensure having a 3D Mario game at launch? They probably started plenty early. But you don't work at Nintendo, so the things you outright assume should happen and the timeframe they should happen in aren't really relevant. You say they should have a 3D Mario game at launch. Others says Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros., etc. So what, is Nintendo just supposed to release all their major franchises simultaneously at launch because people want them ASAP? Why didn't they make more games so they could spread the releases evenly over the year? Finally, you sort of hit the nail on the head. --- Steam Name: gekganon
Why do you all insist on taking this board down as far into the gutter as possible? I'm talking to all you who constantly insist on replying to people you know are trolling, as well as people who insist on making topics they know will just turn into this crap. Do you think a person who is trolling cares what you say at all? Do you think people incapable of checking historic console sales cares at all what you say? What do you all hope to accomplish with this besides making this the most miserable board on all of gamefaqs? You should really ask yourselves why if you really like nintendo you insist on making it's boards so miserable.

GEKGanon posted... How do you know who is trolling? Maybe some people are just tragically stupid. If you can't tell then I would strongly suggest you stop posting until you figure it out. I would even argue this entire topic itself is trolling. It's designed to specifically anger known trolls on the board and get them to post(that's trolling) and so they do just that and then everyone else responds to the trolls and makes one big cesspool of filth for a topic and drags the whole board down. Though I honestly don't think it could get much lower at this point.
Undietaker posted... megax11 posted...LOL! That video puts the trolls to shame. LOL! You think because I own 1250+ games, that means I've played them all? I buy with the purpose of saving them until I am old and have nothing to do. Since I started gaming back on the NES, I have only beaten 250 games. 251, sorry. I beat the latest Tomb Raider (first TR I've ever beaten despite owning Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld). You know what they say, right? "Assumptions are the mother of all **** ups." Life > games. I will never change that. However, buying games for the purpose of saving them is a smart move, because - 1: They won't be hard to find when I'm ready to play them. 2: I won't have to worry about buying used games that someone used as a coaster, because they don't know how to take care of anything. 3: There's too much life to live. There's a huge world to see. Once things slow down, and pending I didn't die from some fluke occurance, they will be there when I'm ready to slow down on life and get down on some games. Can you believe that I own Devil May Cry 1-4. All were bought on their day of release, and I have only made it past the Spider boss in the first game (chapter 3 I think)? While others wish they could experience those games new for the first time, they're still new to me 11 years later. Same with GTA 3, VC, SA, IV, Zelda: SS, Donkey Kong Returns, Metroid Other M, Metroid Prime 2, 3, and a **** ton of other kick ass games. I can be patient, though. Too much life to live, while all of the broke trolls come and spend their life trolling others because they have nothing better to do. :) --- The ALL THINGS GAMING fanboy.
