Is Miiverse at least a semi accurate representation of sales?

I'm not saying this because of how many people are in the community. More like a VS situation. As in, MH3U has passed LCU in Miiverse player count. Maybe MH3U outsells LCU after all? Most Wanted U is way, way behind in Miiverse count so I think it's safe to assume it's sales are far less than the other two games, it's probably bombing, although all the Origin orders may bump it a bit.

I think miiverse just goes by post count, so no.

Pretty sure that the Miiverse count is just those who have favorited the community. There are likely people who have games that did not favor it or do not use Miiverse at all, as well as people who have favorited it but do not currently own the game,.

It's certainly an indication, but not a very accurate one.

Huh. If thats the case, it definately doesnt mean much. Although it still can be used to gauge interest I guess. Not sure why I thought otherwise...

not an accurate way to base sales at all. Not everyone who visits the communities own the games.

NSMBU has sold over 2 million copies...

New Super Mario Bros. U (2.01 million sold).

... and the community in all three regions doesn't even come close to that.

I think it does and anyone can post on any board, with or without owning the game.

What is the count?
I thought the count was for how many people are currently on that particular board at that time...nothing else. Has this been explained yet?
