Asking people if they're tired of Mario/Zelda/Metroid/Starfox/Etc is like

asking people if they're bored of Assassin's Creed, God of War, Uncharted, Gears of War, Halo, Gran Turismo, Etc.

The answer is probably going to be no, because these game series always produce quality games that are fun to play.

Gran Turismo is the only franchise there that takes as long to release as those Nintendo franchises. How do you get tired of Zelda when it releases once every 5 years? Getting tired of Gears of War, Uncharted, and especially Assassin's Creed I can understand completely.

I like what Miles said. With the exception of the 2d marios, most every entry in any of the series mentioned looks, plays and feels altogether different than the one before it and is only titled similarly because it stars a particular set of characters.

Gears of war, uncharted, AC, God of War, Halo, CoD and the like pretty much bend over backwards trying to stay exactly the same with the exception of a few new bells and DLC whistles for added map pack flavor.

Nothing wrong with it. That's just the way it is. I wish to hell Splintercell would've stayed the same, I know that much.

Uncharted?

What?

That's every two years bro. Halo is every 2-3 years.

Personally, I play a game like SMB because I like the gameplay and it's light on story. On the other hand, I play a game like Assassin's Creed or Uncharted because I love the story despite finding the gameplay uninteresting. Different games for different moods.

I'm tired of the way Nintendo has handled Zelda for the past decade if that counts. Though I'm not against new Zelda games. I just wish they weren't so easy and/or crap (this last part only applies to Skyward Sword). Don't give me any of that Zelda cycle bull either. That's a cop out by fans who are willing to sacrifice taste no matter what.

Been a gamer and Nintendo player (but never a fanboy) since Nes and that is a really bad comparison. Most of those franchises are only 10 or so years old. The big N has been milking the same things for 20 odd years with very little change

Reviews are god. Except when they review something I like poorly. Then all reviews are paid or hating.
