Has an Epic Mickey game been announced or speculated for the Wii U?

The topic title asks the whole question.

No, and Junction Point has disbanded.

Now you're playing with power.

The only one will be the power of two game.

The three game project was canned. Disney basically wants to do cheaper, boarder line, shovelware games.

2 bombed so no.

I've heard that the Wii U version of 2 was the worst version. >_>

I wouldn't say the game bombed. It's more they wanted to have massive gains early. The same with EA dropping Dead Space after 3.

Unrealistic number counting to justify large project sizes.

Makes me wonder if Disney is going to hurt Lucasarts game division later. They already basically canned that one big game, boasted as next gen.

Why on earth did they release it for both the Wii and the Wii U?

And how come the first Epic Mickey was a Wii exclusive and clearly took advantage of every unique play aspect that the Wii affords (and which is why the game was great!). Epic Mickey does not belong on other platforms like Sony or Microsoft. It just doesn't work.

But why a Wii U and Wii version? That's just dumb.

I rented the Wii U game and it was pretty awful.

I finished the original one on the Wii and was very excited to play the second one on my new Wii U. The framerate was terrible and the tedious gameplay ruined the experience for me.

It was rather dumb. They should have done it as a Nintendo exclusive and focus the gameplay around the Wii and WIiU.

By going multiplat, they screwed up. And I only say Nintendo b/c it was an exclusive on the Wii.

Not enough WiiUs is probably why one made for the Wii.
