Most were lame but Subzero's was way better. The spine pull was beyond lame.

I think they should go all out.

Weapons

-Pokeball: Grenade: Captures Nearby People
-Master Sword: Melee: The Master Sword, Can fire beams when at full health
-Falcon Punch: Melee: Uses the almighty Falcon Punch, takes time to charge

Automobiles
-------
-Blue Falcon: Hover Car: Incredibly fast, runs over water
-Land Master: Tank: Can do barrel Rolls
-Iconic Gunship: Samus's Aircraft: fires missiles and beams, moves in all directions with ease

Misc
-------
-100 Gold Coins: Hidden collectibles through the city, unlocks the Green Mushroom
-Green Mushroom: Special: Revives Homies, even after time limit

Also, a line of Nintendo Themed clothing.

I wouldn't get it, my love for Pokemon can't override my aversion to M rated games.

They had a family friendly image to maintain, and it was before the ESRB came into existence. Once those ratings happened, Nintendo quit censoring for the most part, since there was a warning on the games parents could use.

At the very least they could let you have Pokemon costumes. Maybe they could even give you special powers specific to that Pokemon.
