Very nice improvement. Still not perfect, but at least it's acceptable now.

Eight seconds just to exit a game and return to the home menu is still disappointing.

This is great, the load times were annoying the hell out of me

This is nice I guess, but what I really want is the able to do a hard shutdown by holding the power button.

Likely can't be added by a firmware update, though.

Wow. Insane upgrade. They really optimized it, so good job. One less thing haters could rightfully criticize.

No its insane how long it took before. Unacceptable. Honestly still too slow. Hopefully in the future they will be faster out of the box.

Not really besides there could also be more to the update as well. I mean hell it took Microsoft longer to "fix" RRoD with the introduction of the 360 Elite.

People defending the atrocious load times of this thing really need to crack open a bottle of standards and lather themselves in it. This is 2013, not Jesus's time. Given this age of gaming, and the tech abound in it, you mean to tell me that it is acceptable to wait twenty or even eight seconds just to **** around in the system menu and/or load and exit a game?

If people like you all were ever in charge, let alone listened to, gaming and even life itself would never evolve.
