Nintendo releases post-update menu transition video.

Needless to say, it cuts off more than half of the transition time when going back to the Wii U menu.

Also in case you didn't know, the update is scheduled for sometime in April.

No idea. Instinct tells me it's coming after the 30th anniversary deal, which would be sometime in June-July, but i don't think Nintendo would wait that long.

Posted in the comments... I hate having to wait for the Miis to trickle down so your system won't possibly freeze up when selecting another program soon after selecting the home button. Also, they need a 5 second power button hold feature instead of straight up unplugging the system from the wall.

That's happened to me a few times, but only in the first month I bought it.
