Nah, it makes far more sense to stick with third party. Maybe second for Valve if they had to lose the third party status, as I think PC gamers appreciate Sega a lot more than the Xbox or PS crowds ever did, and almost as much as the Nintendo crowds do. Probably helps that lately the best versions of their games have all been PC versions :/

Sega probably doesn't have the funds to develop a new console plus 4 is just too many consoles.
Kevin Bacon's best movie would have to be a tie...between all of them.

Sega is hurting as a third party as it is. I don't think they are going to be making a console anytime soon. Even if they did, their games won't have that Sega feel anymore.

Like is to easy to release a console, Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have been working in the new consoles for like 4-5 years, Sega would need to do the same, and I donīt think they can afford a console research for 5 years right now, and they AFAIK have nothing ready....
