This image shows past Zelda tech demos and what the final game looked like.
It is also worth noting that the Wii U demo units in 2011 were drastically underpowered compared to final hardware. (devkit hardware wasn't finalized until after E3 2012, and devkit software was completed after launch) --- Know Japanese? All I know is that Mario 2d has never looked better. I am already satisfied.

If Batman and Black Ops 2 are launch games I can't wait to see what the last batch of games look like --- Intel Core 2 Duo 6320 (1.86Ghz), 4GB Ram, ATI Radeon 5450 HD http://legendarysuperwarriors.tumblr.com/

The demo is more than good enough. Graphics are at the point now where any further advances are simply for the sake of advancing - sure, given the choice I'd take realistic graphics over what we have now, but I'd rather companies spent more time on making the game worth playing.
I'm skeptical that any Wii U game will look that good while playing so smoothly, so I'd be pleasantly surprised if the system ended up getting games that looked that good.
It was running on a Wii U - why is it hard to believe that games will look that good?
At this rate it'll be the only high cost game developed for Wii U.
/facepalm --- Yeah, that's a problem games had back then. You actually had to get good at them. - Mctias

id rather the game was good and glitch free than it having amazing graphics could look like an N64 game for all I care as long as the gameplay is good

MH3U is the ultimate example of the "gamplay over graphics" argument. The game is probably in last place as far as graphics go in games I've played in the last few years, but it is by far the best game I've played in the last 3 years at least... maybe longer.
The graphics of the Wii U are just fine as they are now imo. I have a gaming PC for uber grafx. Bring on Zelda, Metroid and Smash Bros! They will be supurb on the Wii U.
Game is boring as ****
Bring on the new Xenoblade RPG with giant mecha attacking giant monsters n **** --- (\__/) (='.'=)
