- You can now play games with current-gen graphics on a pseudo-handheld through gamepad play.
- You can actually affect the game by tilting the controller (Rayman Legends demo, Nintendoland, etc.), while also viewing results of your actions on the gamepad screen.
- Being able to touch the screen directly allows for precision manuevers.
- Friends can combine control methods to create fair yet non-equal play. Previously, all players have been pretty much in the same role in a multiplayer game.

And it hasn't even been out one year yet! You're move Sony.

no i tried resetting game i even start violent slamming cartridge on wall but all it does make static noise when i put into DS, the problem not fix! -ReconUnit

Off screen play is great.
Seamless integration with your TV. People mock it but TVii is pretty darn cool.
Real asymmetrical gameplay.
Miiverse.
Non split screen multiplayer. I don't ever want to go back to playing splitscreen FPSs after experiencing that.
