Is this one step Nintendo could take to improve Wii U system sales?

I can't say it will improve sales without more titles to support the system, but I can say I was happy to get the pro controller packaged in the Wii U Deluxe ZombiU bundle.

Oddly enough, however, I rarely use it.

I think adding a Wii Remote/nunchuck combo to the Deluxe would have been smart so that people could play Nintendoland multiplayer out of the box. The gamepad already has all the same buttons as the classic controller.

As much as I love the Pro controller and wish more games utilized it, I don't think including one would bolster sales. Namely for the exact reason of not having enough games supporting it.

Seriously Nintendo, no support for NSMBU? I just don't understand the logic.

This is actually pretty spot-on. I was a little disappointed learning I couldn't use the gamepad and my pro controller to play Nintendo Land multiplayer with my girlfriend (I obviously understand why, with the motion controls, but still).

Combine that with the inability to use backwards compatibility without the Wii-mote and nunchuck... it seems this pack-in would have been a no-brainer. I hate the fact that I have to go out and buy one, but I know I'm going to do it anyway.

I got the Zombi U bundle, and I use the Pro Controller way less than I thought I would. Even with games that don't require the Gamepad, I still use it instead of the Pro. I just really dislike the feel of the Pro Controller. It's kind of disappointing since that was one of the reasons I got that bundle.

Only would work if they also included a game that supports it.

The zombiU bundle looks really good. You get a lot of good items for you're money. If I was interested in a wiiU I would get that.

I came in here to answer the question but then I saw the poll; I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition.

Nah, in my opinion games sell systems, not controllers
