Looks like nobody's copying the Wii U or supporting Nintendo's vision for gaming

Like the PS4 controller's, the nex Xbox controller is also rumored to not feature a screen. Why is this bad for the Wii U? This makes third party support for Wii U versions of future games more difficult because devs will need to spend time making use of the screen on the Wii U's gamepad. This means shoehorning in functionality that wasnt needed nor in mind for the game since the other versions wont have it.

It honestly feels like Nintendo just created a problem for themselves raising the Wii U prive by having a screen on the controller that will hardly ever be used

I believe they are already calling it a gimmick

LMAO @ pathetic Sony fans who compare the laggy, ugly Remote Play to the Gamepad's off-TV play.

Obviously they've never played the WiiU and accept third-rate implementation and s*** performance from their Sony systems:)

Sony copies Ninty, end of story. No need to be butthurt little Phange;)

Putting smileys doesnt make you sound any less idiotic or any less insecure, it just makes you look all the more foolish. The fact is Remote Play wasn't sufficient at the time, but it existed and you cant deny that, there would not be off-TV play on Wii U if Sony never introduced it.

It's 2013 now, and you can bet that the PS4 + Vita Remote Play will be far better than the Wii U's and PS3 + PSP

And I can see how nervous you are as you try to have any footing while you're damn near freaking out here, but Im not Phange. Collect yourself to at least some degree where you realize who you're arguing with

Good job saying Sony is not trying to follow "Nintendo's vision for gaming" and then backpedaling saying it was really Sony's vision all along and Nintendo's clearly more integrated solution is somehow inferior. Makes absolutely no sense.

Pick a side. Is Sony following Nintendo's vision by forcing all PS4 devs to implement Vita remote play (which they are doing)? Or did Nintendo copy Sony's remote play idea? Either way, Sony is doing remote play which is very much in line with what the Wii U does. You effectively killed your own argument. Well done.

One can not live by themselves.
Nintendo need to socialized.
I know they are arrogant, they need to learn their place, fast.

It's simple as to why they don't want to copy it nor support it... it requires more work from the programers... plain & simple... You make a game for xbox & port it over to ps3 it's the same thing... nothing changes, meanwhile for the WII U you have to cater to their control scheme & touch functionality... which means extra work for the same price.. why bother?
I get their laziness point & mostly one of the reasons we're not seeing games...
If the games were there for WII U it would have sold just like any other console but w/out lack of support people have lil option to buy one.

Sony has already stated that all PS4 games MUST have Vita controls. Also, lol at saying porting from 360 to PS3 is "the same thing". If that were true, all ports would be perfect.

Also, lol @ Phase pretending Sony didn't rip Remote Play off from Nintendo's Gamecube-GBA connected games like Four Swords and Crystal Chronicles:)

Poor Sony, poor Sony fans...no originality from the company, no brains from the fans. What a train wreck!

So Nintendo has a handheld, and thinks "Hey this should have some functionality with our console" before Sony even makes their handheld, and it's the same thing as Sony inventing Remote Play that transfers the console game onto the handheld?

Crying 'train wreck" doesnt through off the scent of your lack of confidence, lack of wit, and you're plainly humiliating yourself at this point.

Sony invented Remote Play, thats a fact. Having a tablet controller that forces developers to make use off that screen on it is Nintendo's vision of gaming that none of the console makers are backing up by copying. Sony wants to make use of the PS4 + Vita Remote Play because unlike with PS3 + PSP, any game can be played that way since it has dual analog sticks and a touch screen. It also makes the PS Vita a more attractive buy

Did nintendo even have a vision for the Wii U?...it seems like they came up with the gimmick, mass produced it, and then started to worry about how to deal with the games and any aspect to the machine
