What if Rayman Legends does way better on the 360 and PS3 than the Wii U?

#1John_MagnumPosted 4/5/2013 1:09:30 PM
Ubisoft has been one of the only big publishers who even seems to be trying with the Wii U since they came up with a new IP for its launch and all and they've continued to make games for it. But if Assassins Creed IV and Rayman Legends do worse on the Wii U than on the other consoles, what will Ubisoft conclude? Will they continue supporting the Wii U out of the goodness of their hearts?

Also, are Splinter Cell Blacklist and Rainbow Six Patriots coming to wii U?

Actually 140 million consoles, because it's coming out for both 360 and PS3.

It probably will sell better on the other two now that it is an option. Who's gonna go get a Wii U to play this game when they own another console? Ubisoft seems to think that it will move Wii U's. I definitely dont believe its gonna retain the system seller status that Ubisoft claims it be. I would like to be wrong but, I don't think so.

It was made to utilize the wii u hardware. So as this will be the best version it should do well. Im so glad ps360 owners are looking forward to wii u ports.

Yeah, I really don't think Rayman is a system seller. Legends definitely isn't anymore after delaying the Wii U version to release it at the same time as the other consoles.

Well, it kinda depends. First off, Wii U owners are getting the Online Challenge mode for free this month. Second, another demo is going to be available between now and the release date, supposedly only for the Wii U. Third, by the developer's own words, the Wii U version is going to have extra content that won't be available on the PS3 and 360.

While obviously the Wii U version is not going to sell as many copies as the other two based on the number of units sold on each, the numbers on the Wii U version may be quite decent considering what that version will offer, before and at release.
