My only issue with Wii U is no next gen support

#1cedricthegreatPosted 4/8/2013 12:08:25 AM
Unreal Engine 4 will not work on Wii U (ton of games)
Frost Bite 3.0 will not work on Wii U (Mass Effect 4, Dragon Age 3, BF4)
Luminous engine will not work on Wii U (Final Fantasy)

Crytek's CryEngine supports Wii U but EA doesn't and EA publishes Cryteks games.

No word yet if Konami's Fox Engine and Capcom's Panta Rhei engine will support Wii U.

Will Wii U support Betheseda's new game engine for Fallout 4?

Incorrect. It will work on Wii U, Epic just won't use it.

Frost Bite 3.0 will not work on Wii U (Mass Effect 4, Dragon Age 3, BF4)

EA said that Wii U couldn't run it.. but somehow the weaker PS3 and 360 can?

Luminous engine will not work on Wii U (Final Fantasy)

There's nothing to support that it won't work, and nobody's said it won't.

EA's butthurt, and f*** them.

Why the facepalm?

Are these not all legitimate concerns?

I don't even know what the hell Unreal engine 4 is and frankly i couldn't care less.
I'll just be buying the games that interest me as always. Shiny graphics and all that flashy stuff means little to me. I just want games that are fun to play. What happened to the days when kids just played their videogames and didn't worry about all the technical crap?

You mean Epic won't port a clean version of it and it might not be used on as many games as you think but then again it might.

Even if it can, they still won't get games using it, or if they do it will be weakened ports using the older engines. So TC is right about his concern.

Because the technical crap makes 3rd parties skip the wii U = less fun games for the wii u.

Just because a game has good graphics does not mean it won't be fun.

Just because a game doesn't have the best graphics does not mean its bad.

Yea, I agree. I never implied what you are saying. So nice irrelevant post there.
I use to love runescape and that has horrible game play and graphics.
