Is CoD qualified as a kiddy casual game?

Disregarding the ratings, doesn't the casual nature of the gameplay and its immense popularity with kids make it a kiddy game in effect? (but not intent)

If so, then why aren't similar games on Xbox and PlayStation getting bashed for being "kiddy" or "casual?"

You know, it is us the 18 to 30-year-olds who screwed up call of duty for everyone. Those kids who look up to us, saw call of duty, halo, gears of war, and even battlefield. These series were completely done during our generation. They were ending, then we gave the games away to our little kids nephews or sold them to gamestop who sold them at low low prices. Kids picked them up after we recommended them. Then IT happened.

It's not casual. Kids take it too seriously and by the end of the day, they forget that it's just a game, therefore losing its casualness. But yes it is kiddy because too many kids play it.

CoD is the most casual FPS ever created, and is a blight on and symbol fo everything that's wrong with the gaming industry. It needs to die.

But it's only "kiddy" in the sense that screaming children play it.

So really all those decrying Nintendo as "kiddy" -- even though Nintendo has a lot of older fans -- are seriously misinformed and most likely hypocrites.

What is the definition for casual and kiddy? These words get thrown around a lot in various contexts so I am genuinely curious.
