Five months later, Nintendo still haven't fixed the overscan issue.

Only six responses before the first apologist... not bad.

I stated a fact that is consistent among software engineering in general, but whatever makes you sleep at night...

This is a sign that it's time to get a new TV. I have no problems with Nintendo not catering to overscanning morons.

I quite like the design of the Wii U's interface. Too often I see stuff pointlessly flung out into the middle of the screen with borders around the edges just to cater to idiots who bought a crappy TV.

You should have done your homework before you bought a TV to ensure it doesn't have this picture molesting feature built into it.

No, but it makes the point that Nintendo isn't the only company to ever have any kind of issue with their product and that it will most likely be addressed at some point..

Trolls (like yourself) desperately, yet laughably, try to convince us otherwise.

I think they're the first one with 20 + issues though.

20+ my ass! Mind listing them all for reference or will you hide behind a "find it yourself" response?

I know my TV doesn't have an overscan option, but it is also very old, only having the ability to display in 480p and 1080i, and is very susceptible to burn-in. That's my cue to get a new TV.
