So you might be able to transfer VC console games to the 3DS, for a price lol.

Not every Virtual Console game will allow this.

A Virtual Console game would have to release on both Wii U Virtual Console and Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console for this to work.

You have to pay a discount price to transfer a Wii U Virtual Console game to Nintendo 3DS. It would be just like how you pay a discount price to play a Wii Virtual Console game on Wii U.

Looking for any way to get people to pay money Nintendo.

Going the other way might end up benefitting 3DS ambassadors a lot, especially since we know GBA games will be available on Wii U. I wonder if they'll give you discounts on those if you're an ambassador.

I'd do it for some of my VC games.

Who even said Nintendo's going to charge for a transfer at all? It's not confirmed anywhere. These people might not know either. Upgrading a Wii VC game to play on the Wii U isn't the same as sending a game from one device to another. An upgrade is simply an upgrade.

Did it cost anything to transfer from the Wii to the Wii U? No. So hold your horses and wait.

For all we know Nintendo could connect the two eShops, or let us to access our 3DS download history on the Wii U and our Wii U download history on the 3DS and let us do a free download like you normally can after you've paid for something once you've paid for something one time, then release an app that lets you copy files off of the 3DS and move them onto the Wii U with an SD card or a USB flash drive.

Why trust this source?

Wait so I can buy a game and then be able to play it on a handheld. Yeah I don't see why a small charge for being able to do this is a bad thing. I couldn't tell you how many games I would do this for. It will most likely only be a buck or two. A very small price to pay.

And in case anyone asks, they can easily let you connect your Wii U with your 3DS by setting something up on Club Nintendo where you enter Wii U serial number to your 3DS serial number, and if both consoles are connected to Club Nintendo, they'd merge.

Oh I sure hope this isn't going to be that case, now that's double dipping.

Actually it's triple dipping.
