No, that had a lot more to do with Grezzo's lazy porting job, where they just applied a fresh coat of paint and a new interface to the N64 ROM instead of building a remake from scratch like Starfox 64 3D.

Well yeah, I always assumed that was the reason too, but that was the BS they gave everyone, and to be honest, the glitches are pretty fun and don't cause any catastrophic damage anyway.

There is a notable difference. OoT 3D, for example, kept a lot of the old glitches because people found them fun, and that is what you are talking about. Framerates, graphical glitches, or things actually wrong with the port, can and should be fixed, especially when 90% of the price is profit.

The thing is though is that OoT 3D is not VC, the closest thing it is is more an HD port of the game.

And yes they can be fixed but for such older games they wouldn't be able to really fix framerate issues without going into near remaking the game. Because at the time that was the frame rate, they would have to find the right frame rate to do it at. They wouldn't be able to jump to 30-60 FPS.

But bottom line is the price varies and if you don't like the price, don't buy it.

What? Nintendo is charging 8 dollars?

8 DOLLARS FOR NES GAMES???????

It's $5 for a NES game.

Oh phew

8 for snes

Considering genesis games are 5 and ps1 games are 6-10 it's a massive rip though.

So you think $7.99-$8.99 for a SNES game is overpriced?

How's this for a GBA game?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Mario-World-Advance/dp/B00005UK88/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1367370807&sr=8-2&keywords=super+mario+world

That's $232.95 in US dollars.

And that's the cheapest of the 'new' offers. The most expensive is $386.71, plus $3.15 that equals $389.86 for just one GBA game?
