I expect a price drop this year

or at least a good bundle. Let's face it, the Wii U is great but overpriced.
I want one but I can't force myself to pay 350$ for this thing.
It should have been 250$.
When you add taxes and a game here in quebec it's a whoping 450$ just to get started.
I praised Nintendo in the past but now I can't defend them anymore.
For that price they should have included a SSD of at least 150G.
And the online is just not on par with current offering from competitor.
I will buy one if the price is right.
I remember fondly my Gamecube and N64 but since the Wii it's going downhill.
I had more than 100 games on my GC and only 2 for my Wii.
And the damn thing don't even act as a multimedia device since it can't play BD or even DVD.
I wonder what they were thinking.
I say it's going the way of the Gamecube. This thing will cost 99$ in a few year.
Frankly, I'm disgusted of console gaming right now.
End of rant

Only 2 wii games? Hard to take that seriously.

Overpriced?

Then don't buy it, go buy an xbox. no need to come whining on here like a six year old who's lost his ice cream.

I can't afford a Ferrari but I don't go crying on the Ferrari forums that their prices are too high.

Shoo.

TC probably bought a $600 ps3 and thought it was a fair price.

I don't doubt it. The number of French people I see online.

All we need now is a consistent release schedule for games. It's just a shame that after Lego City it completely dries up again until Doos Ex, then again until Pikmin.

Right. I know E3 will be the beginning of great software, but who knows how long it could take for those games to be ready.

Yeah no the Wii U isn't over price all things considered (Though the HDD on this thing could have been much bigger, give the basic a 25 gig HDD and the premium a 75-100 gig and the ability for externals and it would stop some complaints)

As for a price drop if it ever came it would happen in the Fall/Winter as that's when they culd pump out games to justify a price drop. Any sooner would be bad.
