To Mess With PS4 & 720 Sales Nintendo Makes A $50 Price Drop, But...

For those of us who bought a Wii U before the price drop, they give us ambassador games. What games would you want those games to be? - Results (40 votes)
3-5 Gamecube games
70% (28 votes)
5-10 N64 games
17.5% (7 votes)
10 GBA game
7.5% (3 votes)
20 NES/SNES games
5% (2 votes)
This poll is now closed.
What would you want if there was an ambassador program for the Wii U?

For those who ask, none of the games are going to be the ones already released on Wii U VC (can't guarantee that the game is already on Wii VC though).

To release that many games would probably be an $80 price drop, similar to the $80 price drop of 3DS.

I foresee a 50$ dollar price drop in the near future, but around 9 months in that is a very common occurrence. The 3DS got the free games because the price dropped earlier and larger than most. And they would likely have the GCN games, probably 10, if they did have a program, because they won't be available on the VC.

So it's not happening.
I say 5 NES, 5 SNES, 5 N64, and 5 GCN if it were to happen though. Best of all the systems as a 20 game collection would be awesome.

They should just just send every early adopter a free PS4
they have the PC version of Darksiders 2 running on WiiU in 1080 native at 60 fps and full graphics options on. Neither 360 or PS3 can come close

A price drop won't affect the ps4 or Xbox sales. Ps4 and Xbox will compete with each other not Nintendo.

Any of those options would be fantastic, should they actually happen. But I think it should be about 12-15 GBA games proportionately, heheh.

I agree with you 100%.

Nintendo pretty much dropped out of the console wars in 2006 with the release of the Wii. They are even further in their own ball game now, with their approach at E3, their different style of controller, their "underpowered" console, etc.

To compare them to Sony and Microsoft now days seems absurd, but it's understandable.
Wii U and 3DS for my current gen gaming. PS4 or 720 will be added a latter date.
