You obviously have no accurate information on the virtual boy.

VB was trying to cater to gamers. Period. As gamers were still fascinated with VR at the time. The market was much smaller than it is now. That time has passed. No one really cares anymore.

That's not what you said though. You said, "Wii owners". Big difference there.

Ill trust Nintendo over VGChartz, especially when theres a OVER ONE HUNDRED MILLION UNIT discrepancy...

What you're missing is the fact that hardware companies consider units they've shipped as sold. Why shouldn't they? They've already been paid for them. So even though Wal-Mart still needs one of us to walk in and buy the WiiU sitting on their self, Nintendo doesn't care because Wal-Mart already paid them for that WiiU. Remember, support is base on how many units are sold, so it's beneficial for Nintendo to list shipped as sale, and it's perfectly legal for them to do so since they have technically sold them even though the unites may still be sitting on store shelves.

It's been this way with every hardware company since day one. Most software companies don't pay attention to a hardware company's own listing as they are misleading. They don't care how many units Nintendo has shipped, they care how many are sitting in people's homes because that's what effects their sales.

Yeah, tsizzle is right.

Also, before you idiots say anything else...this isn't a price drop. Retailers in Europe decide the price of the Wii U. What do you think is the reason there hasn't been a price drop in america?
