Is it my lack of HD TV or is the Wii U text a little hard to read?

On games like NFS, BLOP2, and Injustice, the text seems to be a little small. Is this a consequence of me playing on a regular non-HD TV?

Lack of an HD TV. Many games though even with an HDtv the text is small.

Small text can be one of the most frustrating parts of video games. However, an HDTV can make a huuuuuge difference. I used to have the hardest time reading the cell phone messages on GTAIV on my standard TV. When I upgraded to an HDTV, I was shocked at how crisp and defined text had become. Some can still be difficult to read, but the HD switch made a substantial difference for me.

It's your lack of an HDTV in which many cost less than a WiiU. Your first clue to upgrade should have been the huge selection of sdtvs in your local bestbuy 10 years ago.

You should play MHU.

It has great text.
