Trust them at your own risk.

Pros
- Made Eternal Darkness
- Has many talented employees

Cons
- Dyack Frivolously sued Epic games, resulting in being counter sued for stealing their engine and plastering silicon knights all over it.
- Dyack is a horrible task manager and primarily concerned with having something to show off than something of substance.
- Dyack is leading this project as well, and has a scorn against nintendo's quality management (which led to Eternal Darkness being such an amazing piece that it was)
- The reason it's called Shadow of Eternals and not Eternal Darkness 2 is because if they used the title Eternal Darkness, Nintendo would require that they pass their quality tests.
- The reason they're raising funds through a crowdfunder is entirely thanks to Dyack's poor management DESTROYING Silicon Knights reputation, to the point that no publisher would get near them.
- The demo they've showed off, was made 3-5 years ago, using funds activision provided for the x-men game.

Simple research would prove this as it was widely known they completed a 'Church level' and monster images were leaked, which looks near (if not exactly) like the monsters seen during the 'demo'.

A familiar image from the Shadow of Eternals is on the cancelled Eternal Darkness 2, which leaked after the settlement loss, late 2012.

"“Silicon Knights deliberately and repeatedly copied thousands of lines of Epic Games’ copyrighted code, and then attempted to conceal its wrongdoing by removing Epic Games’ copyright notices and by disguising Epic Games’ copyrighted code as Silicon Knights’ own,” Judge Dever wrote. "

You, uh... Forgot to tell us exactly what he did that's so bad. I mean, I'd like to hear it, I have no idea why I'm supposed to not support this guy.

Google "Kotaku: What Went Wrong with Silicon Knights" I am not supporting shadow since this guy is an incompetent ass.

The fact this is going to be episodic is enough to turn me away. I mean why? I don't want to buy the game in bite size chunks like it's DLC or something. Really stupid move.

Supporting anything involving dyack is literally the most idiotic, naive, and stupid thing you could do.

- cant legally use the sanity system
- dyack involved, the same dyack that ruined the company and used govt funding to buy hookers and blow instead of using it on game development (aka he literally has hookers hanging off him for interviews. Dont believe me? http://i.imgur.com/UbwkLRR.jpg)
- last game dyack involved in was a spectacular **** up and total vaporware

Anyone that donates to this, despite knowing the facts, is a complete and total fool. You can't even remotely argue that supporting this idiot is a good idea and I doubt the game will even make it to market. No amount of fanboy spin can rationalize supporting Dyack in any way, shape, or form

Seriously guys don't be idiots. Dyacks a washed up druggie trying his hand at his next scam to get peoples money so he can buy some more hookers and blow. I'm not even exaggerating here

Episodic can be done right. MS did it to Fable 2. It was 5 parts each, the first part of the game was free like a demo with each part 800 points(Came to a $40 game). The great thing with that is that if you hated the game at any point of the parts, you could just stop there and not buy anymore parts rather than pay the full $40 and hate it and find because you paid for the game through live, you can't get your money back.

Online could be used easily to help save consumer money but its about nickle and dime dlc these days.

That Dyack dude is the biggest liar on the planet. He was lucky enough to have had an incredible design team that worked with him on Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and he has always used this false fame to scam people.

I am a huge fan of Eternal Darkness, and I am sure you probably are too, but I strongly urge you to not support this "community-centered" episodic title, which will most certainly end in disappointment.

Eternal darkness was a joke.

Too Human. That game spent almost 10 years in development and turned out like it did. No SK for me, or at very least I'm not fronting them the money.
