Someone cheer me up... any good WiiU/ Nintendo news?

We need Iwata to save this console ASAP.

"Oh, don't worry. It's just the __(anything that can possibly divert attention away from the actual news -- who posts it, how often they post, what site it's coming from, etc.)__."

Just thought I'd get that out of the way before someone else said it. ;)

Nintendo is in a slump, sure, but they won't be there forever.

... I hope. =/

I don't see any bad news. Is this about EA not being on Wii U? That's not bad news, it's good news. They are a company who is in it for the money. Nintendo cares about their customers. EA has shown in the recent past that they don't care about their customers.

All companies are in it for the money. If you're trying to convince yourself otherwise, you are deluded beyond help.

All you need to do is wait until E3. Until then prepare for the E3 overload of game reveals, more details and release date confirmations. Im sure those will all make your day :)

Exactly.

The beginning of this Nintendo cycle is lasting a bit longer than usual just because of the lack of first party games.

Once those come out the trolls will have a hard time making posts except to tell us what games are not coming to the U.

Wii U and 3DS for my current gen gaming. PS4 or 720 will be added a later date.

Quick, Nintendrones! Change the subject to Sony!!!

they have the PC version of Darksiders 2 running on WiiU in 1080 native at 60 fps and full graphics options on. Neither 360 or PS3 can come close

Also the growing number of Indie devs who are really enthusastically excited about the Wii U is growing each day, and the number who are constantly becoming approved Nintendo developers is growing swiftly. Those are possitives, Nintendo Web Framework, and the Unity partnership are great for smaller devs, and indies. It makes getting apps, or games running on the Wii U a breeze and fairly obstacle free, Nintendos eShop approach is already a success. The system stabilization update will hit around E3 as well, and then we will have a good platform, with good online options, and a strong selection of indie content, and then the first party titles will start to hit as well. For me all I see coming up is positives, besides the obvious lack of big third party releases outside of Ubisoft.
