Usually nintendo games outweigh 3rd party games effortlessly.

That's always a given, and I always buy 3rd party games.
It's just that I'll buy Mario BEFORE I buy Rayman then pick it up later.

Unless I already purchased Nintendo game X then I'll go for 3rd party.

Every now and then there are 3rd party games that are must buys regardless.

I hear that man, I know that feels. Hell I bought the WiiU for Nintendo Land and NSMBU while waiting for the rest to come out, I knew what I was getting into but the new Mario and NL looked really good and I figured... "Why wait? I know they will make games I want to play and it wont change any decision I make later in the year.".

Hurray for disposable income AMIRITE!?

I do the same thing for all the consoles though, I actually (used to) enjoy Halo (back in the day) and would get that before any game that was out... So I know what you are talking about. But some 3rd party games coming out look really good, and I wish/hope they come to WiiU... Mostly GTA5.

Not that the point isn't true especially now with a decline in third party quality but aren't Halo Gears, and GoW considered first party?
