Nintendo has failed

They abandoned their core audience - gamers and went after "casual" gamers who quickly got tired of the fad. Now they launch the Wii U and guess what? Casual gamers aren't that loyal, and the serious gamers feel abandoned. Way to shoot yourself in the foot. Nintendo needs a change in leadership and a new strategy. And the the bizzare complete lack of marketing around the Wii U makes me think they should fire their marketing director immediately!

They certainly do. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a reality check.

1. People still using the term casual?

2. Nintendo catered to a different audience last gen? Nintendo caters to everyone every gen. And considering Mario/Smash bros/Zelda/Kirby/etc all were seen on Wii it doesn't seem like they gave up on their core audience.

Look at you.... sticking to the plan.

I was just making fun of how people whine about Nintendo a lot on here. I want Nintendo to succeed. If anything, I'm an anti-troll :p
