Go to Nintendo's web-site for the difference between the 2 models.

Fact is, 8 GB is tiny. Most games require updates and the 8 GB will not last long, which means you will need an External Hard Drive much sooner. I have purchased eShop games, DLC, and have a collection of physical retail games (7) and still have tons of room on my 32 GB Deluxe. I also have an External sitting in a box for when I need it, which most likely will not be soon as long I as don't purchase full retail games digitally, which many people prefer.

Major difference is that the Deluxe comes with a few extras and the 10% bonus you get for buying $50 worth of stuff is pretty neat if you plan to download a few things.
Currently playing: Pokemon Black 2, Dota 2, Banjo-Kazooie (360), Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Wii U), & Need for Speed Most Wanted U.

And don't forget that the Deluxe comes with Nintendo Land, which is actually a great game.

You can buy it for like $20.

Also, the extra memory in the deluxe is very small, if you plan to download much of anything you'll still need an external HD very quickly.
