What is your favorite 8th Gen Controller?

The Xbox One's controller looks nice (while the console and its service is not) but right now, the Wii U GamePad is my favorite controller of all time.

You missed a couple of the features of the gamepad (read: all of them)

If you're gonna incude something as trivial as MS changing some names, at least discuss gyro, camera, built in mic, NFC, etc...

Especially since you cited PS4's motion control.

Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.

I haven't held any of them yet. What I will say is that they all look like great improvements over their respective predecessors. At the moment I think DS4 looks like the best:

Considering the other consoles aren't out yet, this topic is rather redundant at the moment.

More of speculative on what we know was added on their already traditional designs.

Which is even more reason for this topic to be redundant. You won't know until you hold it in your hand. Just see how everyone thought the Wii U Gamepad looked uncomfortable and heavy... then people and reviewers got their hands on it and they were luck "holy s***, this thing is really light and comfortable!"

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

I'm voting wiiU because the analogue sticks being directly across is actually more comfortable then them being staggered. Seriously. Also it's nice to have the D-pad directly across from the face buttons, because when playing VC games it feels more like an SNES controller, thus also making it more comfortable.

Also since its specifically the layout that makes it so comfortable to me, this applies to the pro controller as well, considering it has identical button/ analogue stick layout.

The symmetry only applies if you play a FPS game though.

Uh... as far as controllers go, GamePad wins, no contest, unless there is a sudden glut of games that ABSOLUTELY require analog triggers.
