PS2 is like an old, faithful dog. he's sick, he's got two bad hips, four bad legs, three teeth, he's almost blind and almost deaf. every time you come home, you're worried you're going to be coming home to heartbreak. and yet, every day, there he is, wagging his stump of tail and just glad that he got to see you one more time.

This made me sad ;(

It's actually pretty heartwarming. Reminds me of Ulysses's dog Argo from the Odyssey.

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

The 3DS is apparently getting it, too.

Which makes it really, really confusing. Why no Wii U version?

It's seriously something about the Wii U, and not Nintendo if they're willing to put it on Wii and 3DS. I mean, they halted Crysis 3, a game that was practically finished and running beautifully on the Wii U. It's like the Wii U stands as a symbol of something great that went horribly wrong with EA to the point that they ignore that it even exists (other than mocking it). After that "unprecedented partnership" bull-honky, I think EA got told "no" on something, and so EA is saying "no" back.

We all know there would be some rage and excuses about optimization when the game struggled to run on the Wii U anyway, better to just accept that the Wii U just isn't going to get third party support this gen. "Abandoned console" indeed.

Obviously, this is a confirmation that the Wii U is actually weaker than the PS2, since it had problems running a PS2 game.

Nevermind the fact that the architecture in the Wii U is different from the good old CPU instensive architecture that the PS3 and 360 use, resulting in ports inferior in quality due to the learning curve for shifting towards this new architecture.

Or the fact that just by using pure logic: Components made in 2012-2011 cannot be weaker than components made in 2004-2005 (360) and 2005-2006 PS3).

Honest question, AstralFrost: How does it feel to be as ignorant as you (Because you don't know a thing about computers) and make claims as if you actually knew what you were talking about?

EA is currently pretty much boycotting the Wii U.

They also were pretty harsh and insulting about it, UNTIL they saw the massive negative reception of the Xbone. Now they talk as if everything is ok and they just randomly have no Wii U projects, but might have some later (= crawling back when the Xbone bombs and the Wii U builds a userbase).

It should be noted that they are also publishing a massive Xbone exclusive (Titanfall) and 2 M$ exclusive download games while having no exclusive PS4 game.

So it looks like they really want to push the Xbone, and might have actually had some influence on all that 24-hour-online-requirement/used games restricted/borrowing games impossible horror DRM.

Even the Wii is getting it. If there's anybody who still doesn't believe that EA is throwing a hissy fit regarding the Wii U, they're delusional.

the thing is...it won't matter to EA. normally if you disregard a system it will come back to bite you. Honestly...not supporting Wii U won't matter to anyone apart from Nintendo. Wii U sales are crap. When wii came out it was selling too good to not support.

they like Xbone because the Xbone is a money making publishers dream. EA are just that. dont' be surprised with activision making Xbone exclusives too. Core gamers might hate Xbone but some publishers will ride on it. Look at Square Enix. They are supporting Xbonedespite Xbone never existing in japan.
