Deluxe owners: Would you have gotten the Basic if the Deluxe was also only 8GB?

Probably... but this is a pretty ridiculous question. It's a major feature of the system, and without it, it's not that special.

I would have bought it though, yes, because I planned on getting Nintendo Land regardless.

32GB is hardly anything, you have to buy a HDD anyway.

Nope.

Actually I was going to buy a Basic, saw some father putting down the last Deluxe on the floor and was like F&^# that!!!!! Grabbed the Deluxe and told the employee to but the Basic back on the floor.

The father got mad at me and said he was coming back for it after looking at the TVs. I felt kinda bad but it was some funny s@&*.

Nope. The stands, Nintendo Land, and the Deluxe Digital Promotion are still plenty enough to warrant the extra $50.
