Would it be possible for "X" to come to the PS4 and Wii U?

Yeah, if Nintendo sold Monolith Soft to someone else.

The publishers own the rights.

Please do not compare Nintendo to Archie. We are talking the company that saved gaming and continues to press new ideas vs a crappy comic company that I have no clue how its still in business.

And many people say the same about Nintendo.

And I think you missed my point. Nintendo is doing just what Archie did in the Dark Age of Comics - by ignoring the trends. Gaming in general is in a Dark Age, desperately trying to make itself into art, with "deep mature" stories - and instead, they're forcing it, trying to focus on an audience that really doesn't give a **** about depth, and just want "mature" content. Modern gaming is Spawn, rather than Hellblazer, but acts like it has the quality of the later.

They released a weak and overpriced system that can't run most of the upcoming games, agreed.

They can't run most of the upcoming multiplats? If that's the case, why are they GETTING most of the upcoming multiplats?

Because PS3 is as well. When you can say its getting most upcoming PS4 and XBONE multiplats you might have a leg to stand on.

Watch_Dogs on Wii U is a PS4 port. You're already wrong.

Never mind you didn't specify PS4 ports.

Herp derp.

They haven't even started that version. Lol.
Making PS4 version first. Then porting to Wii U from thst.

Second-party is most definitely "a real term," and it isn't loosely defined - it's a partially-owned or wholly-owned subsidiary.

A "completely independent" developer is third-party. That is the explicit definition of third-party, whether their games are exclusive or not.

Actually, no. Second party is a term used by the media and gamers. Within the industry, there's only first and third party.

For instance, GameFreak is an independant company that makes games exclusively for Nintendo. Gamers would call them "second party" but they are third party. (In industry terms, however, even though the company is third party, the games they make are first party since they are made with Nintendo's money and Nintendo wholly owns the IP.)

Mostly right, but I'd like to point out that technically TPCI owns Pokemon, with Nintendo, Creatures, and Gamefreak having equal shares in TPCI. Nintendo doesn't own GF or Creatures, so they only own 1/3 of the Pokemon IP. Specific titles (games) in the series however are published/funded by Nintendo so they own those.

On-Topic, if Monolith Soft is second party (they aren't) then I guess Uncharted and Halo are second party also.

Nintendo fans have the privilege of being able to saying a game is bad because the predecessor is better, not because the game is actually bad objectively.

Considering that the PS4 and X1 are stronger than the Wii U then is no reason for it to be a Wii U exclusive.

Exactly. Wii U is holding back this generation of gaming.

Yes. Damn Nintendo for holding back gaming by spending their own money to get a developer they own to make games for a system they developed. HOW DARE THEY!

They released a weak and overpriced system that can't run most of the upcoming games, agreed.

hahahahah......you can do better than that.
