Nintendo should do more Club Nintendo promotions with the Wii U.

The only notable promotion I can think of is NSLU, and there you just get 40 coins and a chance of winning a Luigi pin. Ummm.... Yay?

Meanwhile on the 3DS, you have 100 coins for digital NSMB2, free game with XL+ LM:DM or PMD:GTI, Donkey Kong original edition with the digital purchase of a game, and that upcoming promotion with SMT and FE getting $30 eShop credit.

And in Europe, you have the too many games promotion, and the MH3U gift promotion.

Come on Nintendo, step it up with the promotions on the U!

Each promotion that Nintendo runs incur some kind of expense, whether it's a realized or unrealized expense, it's still an expense.

Also the Nintendo Club promotions are not likely to:
1) Get people to buy new consoles
2) Buy the WiiU version of third-party games (though this is one area where Nintendo could really help and I do not mean download, as downloadable games lack trade-in value and come at full price, which is more expensive than many release-day deals).

Nintendo Club is a good bonus, but it's not a game-changer.
