Classic Controller Pro vs Wii U Pro

Is it worth the 50 bucks to get the Wii U pro? Or should I just buy more classic controllers? Does the Wii U pro controller have anything special besides long battery life?

Well, you don't have to plug the Wii U Pro into a Wiimote, which is kind of a big deal for me.

On the other hand, the Wii U Pro pointlessly moved the buttons below the right analog stick instead of above it because Nintendo decided to move the buttons on the tablet controller. As such, since it looks and feels like a 360 controller, it will really throw you off with the buttons being different. I really don't enjoy playing games on the Wii, PS3, 360, or PC with a controller and then going to the Wii U Pro controller because it's the only system that has the buttons in that awkward spot. I can make do with it, but it's not optimal.

the Pro Controller has clickable analog sticks.

Generally, all Wii U games that can use the CCP will be able to use the Pro Controller, but not everything that uses the Pro Controller will also use the CCP

Summary: More Wii U games will likely accept than Pro Controller than the CCP
