I better quote this to make sure you don't edit away your shame.

It doesn't matter. Anyone can look at past versions of posts.

Interesting fact. The Gamecube made Nintendo more money than the PS2 made Sony. The worst case scenario with the Wii U is it turns into the N64 and the only games worth playing are Nintendo's and 3rd parties ignore it completely for the most part. At best, we get the 3rd party support the Gamecube got. Hate to break it to the haters out their, but the Wii U isn't going anywhere. If anything, it will be a disappointment sales wise but Nintendo will still make money on games and the 3DS. If anything, Nintendo will only learn from it and improve the things that need to be improved when it's successor is released.

It's also a little early to call. We will have to see how well the PS4 and XboxOne sell. This isn't 2005 or 2006. Completely different market and economy right now.

Gamecube was not more profitable than the PS2. The gamecube generation for Nintendo was. That includes the GBA, and start of the DS. Nintendo has pretty much always been profitable, but the wii-u is the first consul they are selling for a loss, so they are not as profitable as they would like to be.

That's right, kids. A troll is someone who posts articles you don't want to read, and the opinion of a gaming powerhouse that's been around for decades should be defensively met with a feeble "lol" when you have no substantial retort.

And yes, I did say "kids". You can't have pubes and think like that.

Well... correction. One person here can... "lol"...

So much truth!
Also, the amount of insecurity from the Nintendrones is here is pretty hilarious!

Reading the OP, all I can say is:

A: EA has no right to criticize, as they've been giving the Wii U the rotten leftovers from the get go instead of doing something to reinvigorate things, and then proceeded to wonder why Wii U owners haven't bought those disgusting leftovers. Also, they've been backtracking like crazy on the "no games in development" thing, so they don't even know what they're doing in the first place.

B: Activision doesn't really have much in development at all besides the new COD, which is almost a given to release on Wii U (and actually confirmed, if I recall correctly), and the new Skylanders, which is confirmed for Wii U.

C: Ubisoft, I appreciate their effort for the Wii U. I got no beef with those guys (except for the Rayman delay), they're doing their best to support the U with Splinter Cell, Watch_Dogs, and Black Flag all coming out. Let's see if they change their mind.

D: What people DON'T see wast that Nintendo didn't release anything this year so third parties could go in and start putting their stuff out without Nintendo's plumber looming over it all, but the third parties pretty much said "nah". So the third parties shouldn't be upset when a console with next to no games is selling 10,000 a month. Once again, you got the good devs hard at work, knowing that games make the consoles, but then you got the EAs who just say "success immediately!"

Nintendo's Wii U is in developer crosshairs after a less-than-stellar start.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz in an interview published on Monday, Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore confirmed that his company -- one of the largest in the gaming industry -- has no games currently in development for the Wii U.

"We were there with four games for them [at launch]," he said in the interview. "It's been a disappointment when you look at sell-through and, as a company, we have to be very judicious where we deploy our resources."

Nintendo has been loath to admit fully that the Wii U has been a "disappointment." The company has acknowledged that sales are softer than expected, but it believes that first-party titles, including new installments in The Legend of Zelda and Luigi franchises, will turn things around.

Still, it's hard to argue with Moore's sentiment. Over the last several months, Nintendo has been unable to sell 100,000 units in a single month in the U.S. Meanwhile, its elder competitors, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, have been beating it in overall unit sales. And with both Sony and Microsoft preparing new consoles for later this year, even more trouble seems to be on the horizon.

A strong game library has always been the reason consoles sell well. That said, another major game publisher -- Activision -- has nothing planned for the Wii U. Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg told GamesIndustry.biz that his company has "no announcements now" about upcoming Wii U games.

Even Ubisoft, which was one of the foremost supporters of the Wii U at launch with ZombiU, is taking a wait-and-see approach. The company's CEO Yves Guillemot said that ZombiU was "not even close" to profitable, causing him to shelve any plans for a follow-up. What's worse for Nintendo, he said that his company is willing to wait and see what happens with the Wii U through December, but if things don't turn around, Ubisoft would need to "see where we are from there."

So, what does the future hold for Nintendo and its Wii U? If publishers continue to ignore the console, nothing good.

CNET has contacted Nintendo for comment. We will update this story when we have more information.

The Wii U has performed horribly up to this point, but with the lack of help from devs, things may be getting even worse for the Wii U. Nintendo has been alienating third party devs for over a decade and it looks like it is finally catching up with them (actually it caught up with them when the N64/Gamecube were crushed by the PS1/2 to a degree that has not been seen since). Hopefully Nintendo can win over more third party devs because while playing only First party games may be fine for the fanboys, Other people may be expecting more out of this console.

Yeah, it couldn't possibly have had anything to do with the developers expecting Nintendo to have actually released software on their own system to increase sales. Nintendo has put out NOTHING for this system. At all. Why the hell would a third party developer want to develop for a system that its own company isnt even supporting?
Can we please stop with the constant blame-shifting? Nintendo screwed up with this system. Everyone knows it.
