I must admit I'm a Disney geek and a pin collector as well, but I'm really looking forward to playing this.

Not really, I used to love the game when I was a kid, and I thought it would still be fun, but I fired it up on the psp the other day and it wasn;t as fun as I remember it, still a great platformer but not by todays platformer standards.

I'm hoping it still holds its charm for me. I'm definitely excited.

It definitely holds up, and Capcom's Disney titles on the NES were excellent. With all the additions that they've made to this version along with making the boss battles much better, it looks to be an amazing experience. Although I have points sitting on my Xbox Live account to buy this with, I kind of want to find that boxed version.

I'm not really interested, but I have little faith in the Wii U getting its version in a timely fashion since we haven't even gotten that D&D brawler a month after everything else has.

I am.

Wayforward has really impressed me with past titles (probably my tip 3 favorite developers this past gen).

DD: Neon
Contra 4
A Boy and His Blob
Aliens: Infestation

Plenty more and now...DuckTales. Blathering Blathering blatherskite!

I'll be surprised if it ends up terrible but they really do seem to focus more on "old school" gameplay and feel (Adventure Time playing like Zelda 2 as an example).

Which would be what exactly?

I am a bit more now. At first it looked like it was just going to be an almost pixel-accurate recreation of the original, so I wasn't that interested simply because I've already played the original to death. But now it seems that they are changing it up at least a little.
