PS1, PS2, PS3. What do they all share in common? Focus on CPU's with weak GPU's. Before the X360 was announced, the PS3 wasn't even going to have a GPU. PS4 being the only exception, as the focus seems to be on the GPU this time.
N64, Gamecube, Wii, WiiU, DS, 3DS. What do they all share in common? Focus on GPU, weaker CPU.
Why do people constantly whine about Sony only cares about graphics, when all facts point to Nintendo developing their systems with the focus on graphics? CPU is what really matters to gameplay with things like draw distance and AI, yet its something Nintendo puts 2nd place to the GPU
Nintendo simply focuses more on the GPU because it is more economical and makes for a more efficient, and more reliable machine. Sony and. Microsoft have been trying to push machine power, and though the CPU is over emphasized, the machines overall are more powerful than Nintendo's machines. Obviously I'm not talking about this being the case at every point in history, more recently that seems to be the prevalent trend. --- Currently playing: Just Xenoblade Chronicles. Game is fantastic.
