I hope.

I also hope WiiU's VC will have all the Wii VC and more, instead of just catching up.

I hope they add Memory-pak save based Nintendo 64 games this time. I want Legacy of Darkness and Goemon. And Bomberman 64 WITH customs.

Saturn and Dreamcast are not too likely. Dreamcast games are easy enough to modernize and resell as new like JSR, Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi. Saturn is not trivial to emulate.

If I support the game company, then I won't be supporting the blank DVD business.

I hope that they add the N64 pak related things on the VC like rumble pak, and more importantly, the memory pak and transfer pak. I think the cool thing though will be having those N64 games (somewhat) portable thanks to the gamepad.

Saturn?

Keep dreaming, i mean, its a wonderful dream, but itll never be more than that.

Wouldnt count on the Dreamcast either, sure, they might do "rereleases" like the ones on ps3/360, but i think thats different.

As much as I'd like to see the Saturn on Virtual Console, between the difficulty to program for it and how difficult emulating N64 games were (esp. Harvest Moon which couldn't be emulated accurately enough to be released on Virtual Console), we'd be lucky to get N64 games let alone any Saturn games.

I mention the N64 because it was another console from the same generation as the Saturn the was hard to program for and only saw a limited release on Virtual Console.

I'm fairly certain the Wii U is essentially backwards compatible with the GameCube and all that needs to be done to play games is to replicate the controller and memory cards.

Already been done, with hacking.
