Is the pro controller wireless?

It is wireless unless you need to charge it and in that case you can plug it into the Wii U and charge while you play.

It should be wireless like the 360 and PS3 controller. Those controllers aren't attached to tablets.

Here it is in english: It does not connect to the Gamepad at all. It's a wireless controller like the Xbox 360 controller, with the USB charging capability of the PS3. No batteries required. Nice heft and triggers too.

It also has a wrist strap on both sides of the controller that have sensors inside of them so you must have them around both wrists or the game will stay paused until you put them on. They really don't want you to drop or throw the controller.
