Is the WiiU more powerful than the ps3?

#1fissionprimerPosted 7/23/2013 9:53:23 AM
I heard the wiiU couldn't handle engines that work well with PS3.

So is wiiU really that weak?

Wii U is more powerful
PS3 or Xbox 360 engines won't play well with a Wii U.
For the Wii U to get the most out of it's hardware, it would need it's own version of an engine.

it isn't the gpu is compare to PS4 gpu, the thing is that wii u doesn't support some engines, forcing to create ports that nobody wants to work on it, because they are lazy, but it's almost strong as xbone

But why?
Im not keen on the subject, but why did Nintendo made a console hard to develope on?

Yes. It just requires effort to port/develop games for it, and a lot of western devs appear to be allergic to effort.

To be fair, the overall plot of the MGS series sounds like it was written by a 7 year old on amphetamines.-CrystalKing5426

CPU - better
Ram - more
GPU - better
Sales at this point in its life - more

But then again, ps3 is 7 years old. Gotta give old fogeys a break.

Strange architecture makes it hard for devs to be lazy. Yamauchi all over again?

It's cheaper and easier for them to use the same architecture they have been using in the past. It also permits backwards compatibility.

Not changing this sig until we get a new main series Tales game released on a Nintendo console in the US
