Examiner: Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U graphics concerns

I can't believe that people are actually concerned about blurry textures shown on a close-up picture on a game that is not supposed to be played that close to a character/stage.

I'm glad Nintendo didn't put resources to focus on far greater textures when it wouldn't make a difference while playing. Are people really concerned about this?

The game runs in native 1080p so I really doubt it'll be an issue, especially since you shouldn't even be sitting so close to a TV.

Meh, what a stupid article. The camera will only be so close in short moments of some cutscenes and in some kind of picture mode. I'm surprised he didn't bring up Olimar's hexagonal ear.

Other than that, Sakurai also pretty much confirmed that the graphics should improve. He's first going to make sure the game performs well and after that he'll focus on improving graphics.

Whoa zooming in on textures make them look bad. Who would have thought. Sorry, but this is true for literally every game.

The result of diminishing returns. It's only going to get worse once the public realises the PS4 and Xbox One are nothing more than two PS360's duct-taped together.

Those are exactly the same blurry textures from Pikmin 3.


Who cares though. It's dirt. It doesn't need to be super high resolution.
