How do you guys feel about the Nintendo releasing a Wii U that had games come on cartridges instead of diskettes?

I'm the guy who glues his thumbs to his nipples and chases his Cat around the house screaming RAWWR pretending to be a T-Rex.

Who answered yes? Did we forget about what happened when Nintendo stuck with carts?

Well in all honesty they could go to something like pen drives which would speed up load times by a butt load as the memory has plummeted in price. Then you wouldn't have to worry about scratching disk either, and smaller storage space needed.

Do you think more people would go to PC gaming if floppy discs made a return?

Why would we go back to an inferior medium?

No their was a reason we went to the disc format. Discs have better audio quality, can hold more data, are easier to produce, and less expensive to transport.

Nintendo was the only supplier for their own carts back in the day. And they would only sell them in bulk. 3rd parties didn't like that.

Not changing this signature until a new F-Zero is announced. *started 6/18/10*
F-Zero > Mario Kart. If you disagree, it's because you're bad at F-Zero.

Ask the guy at GameStop that talked you and your "son" out of buying the Wii U.

Good god no, if for some strange reason Nintendo wanted to get rid of discs, they'd have to go with some form of SD Card but even then that would cost a lot more than a single Wii U disc so there's no economic reason for it.
