When was the last time a Mario game had good music?

Galaxy 2.

He wants to be strict in his definition of what he means so it works in his favor.
Besides he's acting like Super Mario 3D Land failed or something

NSMBU. My favorite tracks are the athletic theme and the Peach's Castle theme.

They are good, but why do you think Nintendo made a few new tracks, and then reused a bunch of old ones? Don't they care about the quality of their games? Or are they "just products, and not art"?

Here's a question: Who gives an honest buck? I don't.

You want to play games with lazy copy and pasting? Okay, be my guest.

Reusing tracks saves them time and money from having to make new ones. Screw quality, profits are all that matter. And yes, they are products rather than art. All of this ensures tons of money for Nintendo, so I support it.

I'm not a gamer, I'm a Nintendrone. Here's proof I live to serve Nintendo:

I don't mind NSMB music. But the sidescrolling and free roam games shouldn't be compared if you don't want to include Sticker Star. (Which IMO doesn't has more than 2 good tracks...) They're very different...

I would also post some 3D World music but nobody has any online yet barring the main theme.

I was going to say sticker star. But Sunshine, mainly because I dont really remember the Galaxy music. And the "bah, bah bah" music in NSMB is getting pretty annoying now.

Oh boo-hoo, the Jungle theme from NSMBW is in NSMBU. And this impacts that quality of the other tracks or even the game itself how?

3D Land's music was pretty solid. Not as amazing as Galaxy's, but still good. And I'd say it's a little unfair to discount nonstandard Mario games from this, considering between Galaxy 2 and today there have been more of those than traditional platformers.

The jungle theme, the ghost house theme, the desert theme, the underground thee, the tropical theme, the airship theme, the castle theme, the fortress theme, the enemy battle theme, and the lava theme.

Why do they need to reuse those same themes? Why not make new ones? I'm surprised they didn't just reuse all the themes from NSMBW.

Well, Mario 3D Land did have a few catchy tracks.
